Creating a spectacular smile relies upon considered customisation, which is why every clear aligner smile is designed in-house from beginning to end personally by your dentist.
With invisible braces treatment, your teeth are carefully guided into place with a system of aligners for teeth that are invisible and removable, for convenience, confidence and minimal disruption to your everyday living. The aligners are made from 3D scans of your teeth and carefully created with your dream smile in mind. Our in-house process makes for a fully personalised, aesthetically sound and functional outcome.
How Aligners work?
Invisalign is a good option to think about if you have crooked teeth and have made the decision that you want to straighten them. You may have looked into the variety of treatments available.
Clear aligner trays are used by Invisalign to realign your smile and straighten your teeth. This option gives you a gorgeous smile without using conventional metal braces. Along with being less noticeable than their conventional metal counterparts, Invisalign aligners sometimes work better than braces to correct some unique orthodontic issues.
Additionally, they are more comfortable than metal braces and simplify brushing your teeth after meals. When they need to fix dental problems like overlapping teeth, overbites, buck teeth, underbites, cross bites, and spacing issues, most people prefer to use clear aligners like Invisalign.
The first process of having Invisalign is by having an initial consultation with the dentist, who then makes the plan, the timeline, schedule appointments and instructions on how to use and take care of your Invisalign aligners.
How clear aligner works – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Our cosmetic dentists meet with you to determine which aligners are the right solution to achieve your dream smile. This is where we learn about you: your story, your smile aspirations, your fears and your needs. We also look at the way you smile, speak and bite, taking note of your unique facial structure and characteristics. All of this gives us the information we need to create an invisible aligners treatment plan that’s tailored to you.
Step 2: Dental Imaging
After assessing suitability for clear teeth aligner treatment, we complete comprehensive 3D scans of your teeth and an OPG full mouth X-ray to commence designing your new smile and creating your unique set of smile aligners, getting you well on your way to achieving your new straight smile.
Step 3: Start Your Bespoke Aligners
Once your bespoke aligners are carefully fabricated by Invisalign or Sure Smile Aligners, you will be able to get started with your treatment. After we provide you with your initial set of aligners, we will review your treatment progress every 4-8 weeks for the duration of your treatment, and pass on your next set of aligners, to wear 22-24 hours each day. Once you’ve applied your final aligner, your teeth are positioned correctly and you’re completely satisfied with the result, you’ll be able to walk away with your new, straight smile.
RECOVERY AFTER INVISALIGN ALIGNERS
The Invisalign treatment plan depends on your doctors’ recommendation but on average. It takes between 12 – 18 months. Invisalign treatment causes mild discomfort, which is normal. It may take a day or two to adjust to the aligners.
